This Week in Tetris: November 26-December 9

Though CTM went on a break for December, bleedover from November provided a historic set of matches, as No Cap November lived up to its promise. CTL also provided its share of drama, as top-tier players started to go into panic mode to claim their spots in the playoffs. The back half of November featured some key CTM and CTL matchups, as both mainstay online events continued their last iterations of the year. With a lot of veteran players becoming inactive and a new crop of players determined to make a name of themselves, these matches set the scene for one of the most volatile Premiere Polls of the year. While early November was dominated by DAS events (which, for now, remain outside the scope of This Week in Tetris), there were still some juicy open-playstyle matchups for rolling fans. Blue Scuti continued his dominant streak by notching his second consecutive Masters title, Meme continued her meteoric rise, and big sets by SV and TetrisTime added to the conversation.
