Premiere Poll November 2024 Cheat Sheet

This post includes, to the best of my knowledge, all open-playstyle Classic Tetris matches in October that may be relevant to Premiere Poll panelists, with links to the Twitch VODs and This Week in Tetris writeups, if they exist. Remember that the final scoreline may not tell the full story. Numbers next to names refer to October's Premiere Poll rankings. Since the Premiere Poll reflects matches from the previous three months, you may wish to review the September cheat sheet. This Week in Tetris: September 17-October 6

The last few weeks have been an exciting time for NES Tetris. The biggest news between this update and the last is no doubt Dog's incredible (Gym) Rebirth run on the night of October 5th, a huge milestone in the world of NES Tetris. (TWIT will cover Jonas Cup in a separate article, to come soon.) Up next, things seem to be slowing down a little bit; CTM qualifiers have slowed down in October and this season's CTL is also smaller than the last. But there is, of course, CTM's No Cap November on the horizon, and in the time of me beginning to write this article and finishing it, Tris...

Arbaro's Rankings for the October 2024 Premiere Poll

September was DAS season, crowned by the new Jonas Cup this past weekend. Masters and two big CTW events still provided some rolling action, as well as a compelling Challengers tournament that showcased a returning champion and a newer player making a huge step forward. Numbers in parentheses refer to the ( Premiere Poll ranking | my ranking ) for September. NR stands for "Not Ranked". If you're a Premiere Pollster and want to share your reasoning for your rankings on this blog, or if you're a reader who just wants to pitch in your two cents, feel free to join our Discord . 1 BLUE SCUTI (2 | 2) When Scuti won his first Masters title back in December, he had to survive deciders against Andrey and Andy to get a shot against Alex T. This time around, he's going into the semifinals from a position of dominance, netting a 1.9 in both bracket games. Back-to-back CTL championships and an incredible decider win against Alex T in the August CTM Semifina...
